THIS Halloween there’s an opportunity to embark on a different kind of spiritual adventure and discover whether any of the many holistic and psychic therapies available can prove beneficial for you. The Arnos Manor Hotel in Brislington is the venue for an unusual weekend of dream interpretation, palmistry, card reading, astrology and - being Halloween - clairvoyance.

They are all designed to help us harness our own powers of understanding and self healing. The weekend has been organised by Holistic Insights, a Bristol-based team passionate about the health and well-being benefits of holistic therapies. Their psychic events, including psychic suppers and psychic summer garden parties provide a regular focus for people interested in finding out more. “Despite the season, this weekend will not be spooky,” said Holistic Insights reader and medium, Luke Rymell. “It really is just a fun way to experience something new in a relaxed atmosphere and in the
process you might discover something positive that could change your life.” Part of theweekendwill include an evening of clairvoyance when Holistic Insight’s mediums Deb Hawken, Luke Rymell and Nicky Webb will be joined by Krys and Jass Godly from Cornwall demonstrate the continuity of life. Deb Hawken explains: “Any ideas of a tense séance-type atmosphere couldn’t be further from the truth.

As well as the many psychic experiences on offer,visitors can also discover the healing power of plants offered in Hawaiian Plant Spirit Medicine, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and a range of relaxation therapies.” Most readings and therapies are available with discounted prices and the event, which runs daily between 10am and 6pm, includes free workshops and talks.
